A Day at Work

So Saturday's tend to be much slower than a business day but thought I would share the calls I got today: yes, its a slow day and I'm bored so here's a brief 12 hour shift (minus the paperwork in between). Started the shift with 1 officer on, and as many as 3 officers on mid-day, ended with 2 on. Office empty except for me and my imagination.

Each of these calls is input into our computer Records Management System by me as well as in our CAD (Computer Aided Dispatch). Almost anyone we come in contact with I also run their license as well as through Wanted Person. rp=reporting party

Total phone calls this shift=43 (total texts to my kids=12)

911--Rp reports subject throwing coffee into his vehicle on him and his wife. Officer contacted subject and we will be pursuing assault charges on him.

911--Rp reports hearing several shots fired. Another call, same report. Ended up being a car backfiring at a tire shop.

Arrest--officers arrested a subject on an outstanding felony warrant.

Field Interrogation (FI) on one person.

Traffic Stop--Cited the driver for no registration and no proof of insurance.

Traffic Stop--warned driver for speeding.

911--Transferred to medical.

FI on one subject.

911--report of a subject on a bicycle weaving in and out of traffic. Subject counselled on his actions.

Welfare Check on an overdue party. Contacted the party and she was Code 4 (she was fine).

Traffic Stop-- warned driver for speeding.

Alarm-- at local hospital, employee error.

Two other 911 calls that were transferred to medical.

Traffic Stop--warned for speeding.

Traffic Stop-- warned for failing to stop at stop sign.

911-- rp calls, yelling in background, request drunk husband be removed from residence. Officers seperated teh 2 parties and provided transportation of the male to another location.

And my shift is over in 15 mins so LATERZ
